Obverse description A zebu bull depicted in profile facing right, rendered in high relief in the characteristically bold and somewhat stylized manner of Late Gupta coinage. The animal is shown with prominent hump, dewlap, and upward-curving horns, with the body in three-quarter perspective. Brahmi legend inscribed around the field, reading the name of the issuer Virasena. The overall execution is vigorous, typical of the debased artistic tradition of the Later Gupta period.

Reverse description The goddess Lakshmi seated in frontal posture upon a lotus throne, depicted in the round and heavily stylized manner characteristic of Later Gupta gold coinage. She is shown nimbate, with a lotus flower held in one hand, and adorned with jeweled ornaments. The figure retains the iconographic conventions of the earlier Gupta royal Lakshmi type, though rendered with less refinement. Brahmi legend in the field reading 'kramādi', interpreted as an epithet or title Kramaditya.
