Obverse descriptionAbstracted head of Apollo right (wreath, stylised cloak of short dashes between two plain lines, second set of crescents). Spike with two crescents. Diagonal linear depression with curls on either side. Curls on right side of depression are combined with the stylised `yoke`. Short, parallel lines below curls run diagonally in same direction as linear depression.
