Reverse description Central crowned heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Seven United Provinces — a lion rampant to the left within a baroque cartouche — surmounted by a royal crown. The shield is boldly struck in high relief, occupying the majority of the reverse field. The encircling legend is divided by the crown at the top and reads continuously around the beaded border. The date appears within the legend at the top of the coin.
