Reverse description A biga (two-horse chariot) proceeding to the left, with a large leaf motif above and, on some specimens, a pellet below the leaf. A four-spoked wheel with pellets positioned between the spokes appears in the lower field beneath the chariot. A curved exergual line divides the lower field, below which the royal legend appears, occasionally rendered in a blundered form on this contemporary counterfeit issue. The design is enclosed within a beaded border.
