Reverse description Two royal scepters crossed saltire-wise in the center of the field, with a fleur-de-lis positioned at each of the four diagonal angles. At the intersection of the scepters appears a crowned circular monogram of the king. Four crowned royal ciphers are placed in the cardinal quarters between the arms of the cross, lending the design its distinctive insignia character. The entire composition is enclosed within a toothed border, with the abbreviated Latin motto legend distributed around the periphery.
