| Reverse description | A floriated cross with elaborate fleur-de-lis terminals occupies the centre of a raised quatrefoil frame, the cross enriched with foliate ornament and a central boss. In each of the four angles formed by the arms of the cross, a displayed eagle or heraldic bird fills the spandrel. The quatrefoil is set within a pointed, star-like outer border. A continuous Latin legend in Gothic script runs around the outer circumference, separated by a beaded border. |
