Obverse description Draped and armored bust of Henri de la Tour d'Auvergne, Duke of Bouillon, facing right, wearing a ruffled lace collar and cuirass, with naturalistically rendered hair and a short beard. The effigy is rendered in high relief in a bold early Baroque style, occupying the full width of the field without an inner circle border. The peripheral Latin legend runs continuously around the bust, separated from the effigy by a beaded inner border.
