| Obverse description | Central floriated cross with fleur-de-lis terminals, surmounted by a crown at the top arm, set within a multi-lined inner circle. The four quarters of the cross are each decorated with floral or foliate ornaments, and the initials F appear in two of the quarters flanking a sword, referencing the ruler Francis Phoebus. The entire composition is rendered in the late Gothic hammered style characteristic of French feudal coinage of the period. The surrounding field between the inner circle and the beaded outer border carries the Latin circumferential legend. |

| Reverse description | A shield of Béarn, bearing two cows passant in pale, displayed to the left and set within an elaborate quadrilobe formed by four interlocking cusped arches decorated with floral and foliate motifs. The shield is further enhanced by small decorative elements in the spandrels of the quadrilobe. The entire central device is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the Latin circumferential legend occupying the outer field, separated by a second beaded border. The overall design reflects the late medieval feudal coinage tradition of southern France. |
