Crescentic or lunate elements appear between the stars, giving rise to the type designation 'Moon Star'. The composition is executed with considerable precision and decorative symmetry, characteristic of the Regni/Atrebatic quarter stater series. The field is otherwise plain, and the flan retains its characteristic irregular hammered outline. |
