| Obverse description | Anepigraphic design in the Celtic geometric tradition, featuring two parallel horizontal zigzag bands traversing the field, with a small ring or pellet positioned between them. A pair of crescent horns rises above the central band arrangement, framing the upper field. The overall composition is abstract and non-figural, characteristic of the Atrebatic quarter stater series. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with primitive hammered Celtic coinage of this period. |
