| Obverse description | At center, a highly ornate depiction of the Imperial Crown of Rudolf II (Rudolphinische Krone), crafted in 1602, rendered in fine relief with intricate decorative detailing. A circumferential Latin legend encircles the crown, attributing its construction to Holy Roman Emperor Rudolf II in his capacity as King of Hungary and Bohemia. The date of manufacture, MDCII (1602), appears in Roman numerals at the base of the design within the lower field. |
