Reverse description The Austro-Hungarian combined coat of arms occupies the central field, comprising the Austrian double-headed eagle and the Hungarian arms flanking the central imperial escutcheon, all surmounted by the imperial and royal crowns and flanked by laurel branches. A ribbon banner below bears the motto INDIVISIBILITER AC INSEPARABILITER with the initials AO. Bilingual legends in German and Hungarian arc along the upper and lower periphery respectively, within a beaded border. The maker's mark appears at lower right.
