Obverse description Struck in hammered copper, the obverse bears a multi-line Arabic legend filling the field, recording the name and titles of Sultan Ala ud-Din Humayun Shah of the Bahmani Sultanate, who reigned from 7 May 1458 to 4 September 1461. The inscription is rendered in a bold Naskh-style script, distributed across three or four lines within the roughly circular flan. The surfaces show characteristic irregular striking with areas of die weakness and natural patination consistent with medieval Indian copper coinage of the Deccan sultanates.

Reverse description The reverse displays a multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script, filling the field of the irregularly shaped copper flan. The inscription likely contains supplementary royal titles and mint or date formulae typical of Bahmani Sultanate copper coinage of the mid-fifteenth century. The surface exhibits green cuprous patination and areas of encrustation consistent with extended burial or circulation, with the high-relief lettering partially worn but largely legible.
