Additional information

Ahmad Shah II ruled the Bahmani Sultanate through a period of sustained conflict with the Vijayanagara Empire to the south, and his copper fractional issues circulated across the Deccan markets where small-denomination exchange drove everyday commerce. The ⅑ gani sits at the lowest practical unit of the Bahmani copper system — a denomination so minor that most examples were spent hard and fast, which makes survivors in any condition genuinely scarce.
