| Obverse description | Full-length effigy of the archbishop standing facing within a Gothic arch, crowned and robed, holding an upraised sword in the right hand and a fleur-de-lis-tipped scepter in the left. The field to either side of the figure is semé of seven fleurs-de-lis arranged in vertical columns. The legend, rendered in Gothic lettering, runs continuously around the periphery identifying the issuing prelate by name and title. |
