Obverse description Crudely struck hammered silver flan of irregular round shape, pierced with two holes near the upper field. The central area bears multiple lines of Arabic Kufic script arranged in horizontal registers, likely containing a religious formula or the name of the ruling authority. The script is somewhat compressed and exhibits the rough, informal style typical of taifa-period fractional coinage. The field surrounding the inscriptions is plain, with no decorative border or marginal legend discernible.
