Obverse description Central square hole (穿) surrounded by a plain raised rim. The four-character reign inscription 至治通寶 (Zhizhi Tongbao) is arranged in regular script (楷書) reading top-bottom-right-left around the central perforation, with 至 at the top, 治 at the bottom, 通 to the right, and 寶 to the left. The characters are cleanly cast with moderately raised strokes against a flat field. The outer rim is slightly raised and undecorated. The overall fabric is consistent with small fractional Yuan dynasty cash coinage.
