Obverse description Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Honorius facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial style characteristic of the Theodosian dynasty. The effigy displays a youthful portrait with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The surrounding field carries the Latin legend DN HONORIVS PF AVG, reading from left to right around the bust.
