Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Diocletianus facing right, rendered in the late Roman imperial style with bold, slightly stylised features characteristic of the Tetrarchic period. The laurel wreath is clearly visible crowning the head, and the drapery is indicated at the truncation of the shoulder. A beaded border encircles the design. The obverse legend runs clockwise around the bust in incuse Latin capitals.
