| Obverse description | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Constantine I facing right, depicted with fine detail in the imperial military tradition. The emperor wears a radiate or laurel crown, with pauldrons and lorica visible at the truncation. The portrait is rendered in a bold, slightly stylized late Roman manner, with strong facial features characteristic of Constantinian workshop output at Treveri. The encircling legend reads IMP CONSTANTINVS AVG, distributed around the periphery of the flan. |
