Reverse description A frontal camp gate rendered in meticulous brickwork detail, comprising a central arched gateway without doors and flanked by two broad, crenellated towers rising to equal height. A six-pointed star appears above and between the two turrets in the upper field, symbolizing divine protection. The legend PROVIDENTIAE AVGG ('To the foresight of the two Augusti') encircles the design, and the mintmark MNA appears in the exergue, denoting the third officina of the Nicomedia mint.
