Obverse description Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constans I facing right, wearing a pearl diadem with visible rosette detail. The emperor's portrait is rendered in the characteristic late Roman style, with the neck and paludamentum visible at the bust truncation. The encircling Latin legend runs clockwise around the obverse field.

Reverse description Two helmeted soldiers standing facing one another, each holding a reversed spear in the outer hand and resting the inner hand on a grounded shield. A single military standard surmounted by a Chi-Rho (Christogram) banner is placed between them. The reverse legend GLORIA EXERCITVS runs around the field, and the mint mark appears in the exergue identifying the Aquileia officina.
