Reverse description The personification of Constantinopolis enthroned facing, her head turned to the right, seated upon a throne with her right foot resting upon the prow of a galley, symbolising naval dominion. She holds a long sceptre in her left hand and a Victory on a globe in her outstretched right hand. The legend CONCORDIA AVGG ('Concordia Augustorum') encircles the design, expressing dynastic harmony between the co-emperors of East and West. The Antioch mint mark ANTΓ appears in the exergue, indicating the third officina of the Antioch mint.
