Reverse description A plain cross with a pellet at each of its four terminals, set upon a stepped base consisting of two steps. The cross occupies the central field, flanked on either side by the Greek inscription arranged in two vertical columns. The design is boldly struck and typical of the Class B anonymous follis series, conveying a strong imperial-theological proclamation through its monumental simplicity.
