Obverse description Full-length figure of Saint John the Baptist standing facing, clad in a long draped robe, with a nimbus (halo) visible around the head. The saint raises his right hand in a gesture of blessing while his left hand holds a long staff or cross. The figure is rendered in the Gothic style typical of Aragonese florins of the period, with fine drapery folds visible in the field. A circular Latin legend runs along the coin's periphery, partially visible on this hammered flan.
