Obverse description Central field features a traditional Cannstatt jug (Krug) in high relief, set within an elaborate baroque cartouche flanked by scrolling foliage and floral ornaments. A laurel branch is displayed at the base, above a ribbon scroll bearing the date 1887. The circumscribed legend reads FISCHER-STECHEN CANNSTATT along the upper rim.
