Obverse description A detailed relief depiction of the Dent Blanche massif occupies the central field, with the mountain's rocky summit rendered in fine engraved detail. Reverse description The central field bears the name THOMAS STUART KENNEDY in three lines, with the ascent date 18-VII-1862 below, and the issue year 1970 at the foot of the field. A decorative rope-and-laurel wreath frames the inscriptions around the perimeter. The serial number 2506 appears in the upper field above the wreath, and the mint name ARGOR is absent from the visible legends on this example.
