Reverse description Central field displays the denomination ONE THIRD FARTHING in two lines, with the date 1902 below, all within an ornamental wreath of oak leaves and acorns tied at the base with a ribbon bow. Surmounting the wreath is an imperial crown with a cross pattée finial. The composition is symmetrically arranged, reflecting the restrained neo-classical design tradition of British bronze coinage of the period.
