Obverse description At center, the Arms of the Drapers' Company — a shield bearing three crowns — enclosed within an inner beaded circle. The issuer's name EDWARD COPE is divided and arranged around the shield within the beaded border, reading vertically on either side. The whole is surrounded by an outer beaded circle forming the coin's edge.
