Uganda has never issued a 1000 Shillings denomination in silver, and the Bank of Uganda did not authorize this piece. It is a privately produced fantasy strike — legal to own and collect, but issued outside any sovereign monetary authority. The "Bank of Uganda" attribution is a marketing fiction applied by the producer.
