Obverse description Crude hammered field bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script, arranged across the flan in two or three registers. The inscription, referencing the sultan's name and titles, is rendered in bold relief with characteristically irregular letter forms typical of Bahmani copper coinage of this period. The flan is slightly irregular in shape with a granular surface consistent with cast-and-struck copper production.
