| Reverse description | The reverse bears the Hijri date in large Arabic numerals occupying the upper portion of the field, separated from the mint name by a horizontal line. The mint name Marrakesh (مراكش) is inscribed in Arabic script in the lower portion of the field, all within a raised circular border. The inscription is cast in a bold, somewhat crude style consistent with the hammered and cast coinage tradition of the Alaoui Sharifian dynasty under Sultan Moulay Abd al-Rahman. |
