Obverse description Radiant sun-face design occupying the central field, depicted as a stylized human visage with open mouth and eyes set within a disc surrounded by alternating long and short rays extending to the coin's periphery. The solar motif, a traditional emblem of the Qajar dynasty, is rendered in bold low relief typical of hammered copper coinage of the period. The face is schematically rendered with minimal detail, consistent with the artistic conventions of early nineteenth-century Persian provincial mint production.
