| Obverse description | Two lions depicted back-to-back in a bold, crudely engraved style typical of early Qajar hammered copper coinage. Above the lions, a stylized sun face with radiating rays is prominently displayed at the top of the field. The AH date, rendered in Eastern Arabic numerals with the hundreds digit omitted, appears between the lions below the sun motif. The overall composition is deeply struck but irregular in flan preparation, consistent with hand-hammered manufacture. |
