| Reverse description | The reverse bears a multi-line Arabic legend disposed across the field in bold naskh script, filling the flan with characteristic provincial calligraphy. The inscription identifies the denomination and mint, reading across two or three lines in a style typical of anonymous copper falus issues from northwestern Iranian mints of the Safavid period. The lettering is deeply struck but shows characteristic irregularity of hammered provincial coinage. A dotted border or pellet ornamentation may border the inscription field at the periphery. |
