| Obverse description | Central device depicting the lion and sun motif in low relief, with a stylized leonine figure shown passant and a rayed solar disc rising above its back, rendered in the characteristic provincial hammered style of the Mazandaran region. The design is boldly struck in the field with minimal border decoration, consistent with anonymous copper coinage of the Safavid-era provincial mint tradition.
