| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic religious legend arranged horizontally within a plain linear border. The inscription, executed in early Kufic script, reads the first part of the Shahada. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hand-struck copper coinage of the Idrisid period. The surfaces show characteristic flat striking with moderate wear and natural copper patination. |
