| Obverse description | Central field bears bold Arabic inscription in two lines reading 'al-Qaan al-Adil' (The Just Khan), executed in angular Kufic-influenced script with pellet ornaments flanking the text. A circular inner border separates the central legend from the surrounding marginal inscription, which records the mint name and date: struck at Tiflis in the year 675 AH. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, typical of provincial Ilkhanid hammered copper coinage. The overall fabric is broad and flat with moderate relief, showing characteristic wear and surface oxidation consistent with prolonged circulation. |
