Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend in Naskh script, reading the royal titulature of Arghun Khan. The inscription is arranged in horizontal registers across the flan and is contained within a braided or rope-style border typical of Ilkhanid copper coinage. The legend proclaims the ruler's titles and is struck on a broad but irregularly shaped hammered flan showing typical surface corrosion consistent with copper burial patina.
