| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a prominent six-pointed star (hexagram) formed by two interlocking triangles, with a multi-line Arabic religious or titular inscription contained within the central hexagonal space. The triangular interstices of the star are decorated with dotted pellet ornaments. A circular Arabic marginal legend encircles the entire composition, partially visible along the irregular flan edge. The overall design is characteristic of Qarakhanid copper coinage, featuring bold, deeply struck calligraphic elements. |

| Reverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged in horizontal registers within a plain inner circle, citing the names of Ahmad bin Ali and Bakr bin al-Hasan, recording dynastic authority and the local governor. The inscription is enclosed by a beaded inner border, beyond which a further Arabic marginal legend runs along the periphery of the flan. The hammered flan is notably irregular at the edges, typical of Qarakhanid copper production at the Ilaq mint. |
