| Reverse description | Central field displays a stylized mihrab or columned device rendered in angular Kufic style, surrounded by a circular marginal legend in Arabic script. The marginal inscription names the mint as Jibrin and bears the basmala formula. The design is enclosed within a beaded or linear border, consistent with Umayyad provincial fals coinage. The flan is irregular and the strike is slightly off-center, as is typical for hammered copper issues of this period. The reverse inscription identifies this as an anonymous fals struck at Jibrin. |
