Reverse description Central field contains a three-line Kufic Arabic inscription completing the shahada, enclosed within a single inner circle. A marginal legend in Arabic script runs around the outer border of the reverse, indicating the mint name Halab (Aleppo). The overall layout follows the standard Umayyad epigraphic fals design established after the Marwanid monetary reform, with no figurative elements. The Kufic script is angular and clearly struck, typical of Syrian provincial mint production.
