Reverse description The reverse field bears a multi-line Arabic or Persian religious or administrative inscription arranged in horizontal registers across the coin's surface, typical of Timurid fals coinage. The script is in a bold, somewhat crudely executed naskh or nastaʿliq style, filling the available field without a bordering circle. Individual letter forms are discernible though partially obscured by wear and the uneven hammered strike. No mint name or additional symbols are clearly identifiable in the available field. The overall design reflects the utilitarian character of anonymous low-denomination copper issues of the Timurid period.
