Reverse description Central field displaying a two-line Kufic Arabic inscription referencing the Abbasid caliph al-Nasir and the Hijri date (595 AH), set within an ornamental square or rectangular inner border. A continuous marginal legend in Kufic script encircles the field, completing the religious and dynastic formulae. The flan edges are irregular, as typical of hammered Ayyubid fulus, and the strike is moderately bold with some weakness at the periphery. The decorative border elements — comprising scrolling or interlace motifs — are characteristic of the Ayyubid Aleppan mint output under al-Zahir Ghazi.
