| Obverse description | A lion passant to the left occupies the central field, rendered in a stylized manner characteristic of Mamluk copper coinage of the mid-13th century. An Arabic inscription appears above the lion in the upper field, serving as the primary legend identifying the issuing authority. Additional Arabic script is visible to the right of the lion's body. The flan is irregular and slightly ragged at the edges, consistent with hammered production. The overall die work is bold but shows typical wear and surface granulation associated with base-metal Mamluk issues. |

| Reverse description | The reverse field is occupied entirely by a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged in horizontal registers across the coin's surface. The legend, typical of Baybars I fals coinage, records the sultan's titulature and formulaic religious phrases. The script is in a bold, somewhat crude Naskh style befitting hammered copper coinage of this period. The flan is irregular with slight edge chipping, and the strike is uneven, causing partial weakness in the outer registers. No decorative border or inner circle is clearly discernible. |
