| Obverse description | Arabic inscription arranged within a square cartouche occupying the central field of the flan. The legend, rendered in Naskh script, is disposed in multiple lines and contains the religious formula or ruler's name. The area outside the square border shows traces of a marginal legend. The die-struck design is characteristic of Ilkhanid provincial copper coinage, with bold, somewhat roughly executed lettering typical of the Hisn mint. |
