Obverse description Berolina seated in three-quarter view, crowned and draped, holding a laurel wreath in her outstretched right hand and a cartouche bearing the Berlin bear in her left arm. The field is densely populated with allegorical references to the food and hospitality trades, including barrels, game animals, a boar's head, poultry, rabbits, glassware, and a wine barrel in high relief. The engraver's signature LAUER appears in the lower exergue.
