Obverse description Central long cross with four small crosses (crosslets) filling each of the four angles between the arms, creating a voided cross composition typical of sterling-type coinages. The legend surrounds the cross in the field, rendered in uncial letterforms. The design closely follows the English sterling prototype adapted for the County of Saint-Pol.
