Obverse description Uniface reverse trial strike featuring the denomination numeral '1' prominently displayed in the center of the field, flanked on either side by a cornucopia filled with fruit and foliage. The inscription 'FRANC' appears below the numeral, with the date '1932' in the lower exergue area. The Republican motto 'LIBERTE - EGALITE / FRATERNITE' is inscribed in an arc across the upper portion of the field. The overall design is attributed to the engraver Morlon, characteristic of the Art Deco style of French coinage of the period.
