Obverse descriptionR-F on either side of a central hole bordered by a scroll, under a Phrygian cap on the left adorned with a tricolor cockade (guilloche center, smooth circle, guilloche circle), all within an open wreath composed of a branch of two oak twigs; below EM. LINDAUER; the outer scroll is lined with a continuous, dextrorotatory ribbon in the shape of an ear of wheat.
